The Mahā Mṛtyuñjaya Mantra (also called the Tryambaka Mantra) is one of the most sacred and powerful mantras in the Vedic tradition. It appears in the Ṛg Veda (7.59.12) and the Yajur Veda, and is dedicated to Lord Śiva as the three-eyed one (Tryambaka). It is considered a mantra of healing, rejuvenation, and liberation.
oṃ tryambakaṃ yajāmahe
sugandhiṃ puṣṭivardhanam
urvārukam iva bandhanān
mṛtyor mukṣīya mā’mṛtāt
